I don't involve myself in financial transactions like re-financing a mortgage every day, week, or even year. So I was very cautious and a bit skeptical in pursuing my recent mortgage re-financing. I searched and read up on at least four companies involved in this sort of thing including the bank who held the mortgage for at least the last 12 years. Guaranteed Rate and the entire Brian Manning team emerged as my vendor of choice for my re-fi. Each and every member I had the occasion to speak with was clear, concise and friendly. Brian even answered a direct call from me more than once. They made this unfamiliar and, at times mysterious, process seem very doable and from the first contact to the last handshake at closing, it was a pleasure doing business with the Brian Manning team and Guaranteed Rate. I cannot recommend them enough. The experience was so smooth and clear that I'm now find myself thinking of other ways I can work with them in the near future.

Brian and his team were awesome. From the first call to the last he was responsive and timely. We had some last minute adjustments on Wednesday prior to Friday closing and he was on it with restructuring the loan on a dime. His associate Alexis was great about letting me know as soon as she did about documents. Using DocuSign and the guaranteed rate portal made everything so smooth and I was notified immediately every time a new signature or document was needed. We couldn’t do a flash close because of the last minute changes but I was able to review most of the closing documents a week before closing. UPDATE 4/19/2021: It's over 5 years since I bought my house and I decided it was time to refinance. I very happily went with Brian and team again. Though he's switched companies since my original loan, I'm thrilled to see the amazing service hasn't changed. The process was as seamless and professional this time as it was the first time and I stand by everything I said in the initial review below.========Original review: I can't recommend Brian highly enough. He was recommended by my realtor initially. From the first time I reached out until closing day, he was always incredibly responsive. Even when he was on vacation in Nepal, he still managed to get everything done and respond immediately to any questions I had.When I first asked for a rate quote, he sent me the info in this neat little online tool which broke it apart by the different loan options and provided extensive information on the loan. It had a personalized video from Brian attached to it explaining everything (and he followed up with a phone call immediately after). It was clear, concise, and very easy to follow. Considering this was my first home, this was a huge deal for me. It also didn't hurt that the rate that he quoted me was far below any of the others I got.Throughout the process Brian was always available but never pushy. He explained every step of the process and what was required. I had heard so many horror stories about the loan process but Brian made it incredibly painless. In fact, it was so easy we closed on the house a week early. He even showed up to the closing just in case any questions came up.I also got a weekly phone call from one of his assistants just to ensure that I'm kept updated as things moved along.I would recommend Brian and team to anyone looking for a loan. Knowing what I know now I would probably go back to him even if his rate quote were a little higher than others (though, as I said, he actually came in WAY lower) just because of how good the experience was.

I can say without reservation the team embodies professionalism from start to finish. As the application moved through the loan process, a different team specialist handled it at each step. What is impressive is how well the team coordinated with one another so that nothing fell through the cracks. And each specialist was knowledgeable, efficient, and cheerful. As a result from application thru funding the refi was completed within a month. The Guaranteed Rate software which manages the documents is easy to use. When I encountered a couple of login glitches, the Manning team was there promptly to help me sort it out. BTW, the loan rate was by far the best I received from any agency.

We were very happy working with Brian on our mortgage when we bought our house five years ago, so when it came time to refinance we reached out to him – in addition to two other lenders, to have some offers to compare. Brian’s team was so much more responsive and helpful than anyone else. In less than a day, we’d received detailed breakdowns of potential costs for several refi scenarios – something we were never able to get from the others. The whole process was clear, simple and efficient, and the team always let us know what to expect next. Any questions were answered promptly. We even closed well in advance of the initial estimated date. I have used Brian Manning twice now -- one for my original mortgage loan 2 years ago, and again just recently for my refinancing. In both instances it was a perfectly pleasant and seamless experience. This most recent time was especially wonderful -- I was leaving town for the COVID-19 lockdown and wasn't able to meet in person for my closing. So not only did he push to ensure the closing happened before mortgage rates shot up again, he got me the lowest rate out there AND enabled me to close virtually, which I didn't even know was possible. I'd work with Brian again any day of the week. Even on Saturday, when for some reason he still takes work calls.
